31 Anglers showed up for the 5th leg of the 2007 Scbbbc tournament schedule at Highland Springs Reservoir this weekend and it was a good one. With water temps in the low seventies and the wind blowing out of the west some angler struggled while others were able to locate and catch fish. One Angler figured the bass out early and was able to bring in a nice five 5 fish limit to the scales for the victory. Travis Tarver the Texas Terror claimed victory with a nice limit weighing in at 17.05 pounds. Travis used his trusty jig to catch his fish and take home the first place check and trophy. Congratulations Travis. 2nd place went to another hot angler right now, Scott Beem. Beem had a five fish limit that weighed in at 14.94 pounds. 3rd place goes to angler Dale Zindler with a five fish limit of 14.00 pounds. This is Dale’s first top 3 finish and well deserved. 4th place goes to All Pro, 5 time angler of the year Todd Iwamoto with 5 fish for 13.77 pounds. And topping out the top five in 5th place, The current Scbbbc angler of the year leader with 234 total points, Dave Sternitzke with 5 fish for 12.60 pounds. The tournaments big fish of the day went to Todd Iwamoto who brought in a nice 5.98 pound bass. Congratulations to all the top finishers.
