Aug 21 2010Matt Nyiri's First Club Victory is a Big Win on Blue Lakes!
The 7th tournament of the S.C.B.B.B.C circuit was held at Blue Lake last Saturday and second year mamber and 2009 Rookie of the Year Matt Nyiri claimed his first victory with the club. Matt was able to hold off 37 other anglers by taking advantage of a frog and senko bite which netted him a 5 fish limit for a big 18.47 pound sack. Congratulations to Matt Nyiri. 2nd place goes to current AOY leader Mike Ayers with a 5 fish limit of 15.86 pounds. Dave Sternitzke whose 4 fish limit of 14.63 pounds was good enough for 3rd place. Coming in 4th place was Binh Phi with a 5 fish limit of 12.95 pounds. Topping out the top five in 5th place was Carson Riley with 4 fish for 12.78 pounds. Great job to everyone in the money!Thanks to all the officers for a smooth run tournament. We had a few first time anglers out with us Saturday which was very nice.
